Mt Vision Base Glaze with 5% Copper Carbonate, SG 1.43 on Dark Red

Description:

Following the progression, experiments with Copper are documented. Currently I have just two examples, a line blend test (below) and a sample bowl (above) using the left over 5% mixture to glaze its outside. It's interesting and very metallic with more copper.

Glaze: Mt Vision Base Glaze, SG 1.43, 200ml batch
Additive: Copper Carbonate
Method: 5 tests of 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5% Copper Carbonate by adding 2, 2, 2, 2 and 2 gm (cumulative 10 gm) without changing the amount of liquid.

Notes:

Honestly these are not that interesting, especially compared to the Iron, Iron / Titanium and Cobalt experiments. The metalic glazes on tiles 4 and 5 are kind of neat-o, but are not for everyday use. Deeper exploration seems required, perhaps with additional materials.
